I started with faces because for me they're most important - if faces don't look right, why bother with the rest? I shaded skin with a Peach pencil, going very light, then added a bit of definition with a Salmon pencil.
Add more definition to darkest areas with Tan, Venetian Red and Light Brown. At this stage features start looking more pronounced.
Keep building up shading with Raw Umber and Brown Ochre. I use cotton buds to blend colours together.
Here I worked more on lips, eyes and eyebrows with a Red Rouge and Van Dyke Brown
With a Dark Brown and Black pencils build up more shading, start on woman's hair and man's stubble. I also added a hint of Gold Ochre to make skin colour appear warmer.
Now that features are finished I draw man's hair. Start off with Light Brown, then add strands of Dark Brown and Black.
Started working on the shirt.
Finished shading the shirt and started adding darker shading and deep creases with a Black pencil.
This is my Figures Tutorial, which I hope will give you some useful tips. It may seem that creating full body drawings is a lot harder than creating portraits, but  like with any task, if you break it down into smaller task, it is not difficult at all. This is what I've done here - I worked on small parts separately, this way you don't get overwhelmed with so many details.
For this drawing I used Ryman art card - it's quite smooth and thick (10 Gsm) and allows to blend colour pencils easily. I have used a mixture of Crayola and Lyra colour pencils, they're a perfect match.
Step 9
Step 10
Finished the shirt with a Black pencil and shaded woman's back with a Peach pencil.
Repeated the same steps as I did with faces - created volume with yellowish tones and light browns.
Step 11
Step 12
Finished working on skin with dark browns and black.
Created flowing strands of hair with a Light Brown and Venetian Red.
Step 13
Step 14
Finished hair with a Black pencil and started working on the dress.
Creases and shading on the dress were done with a Dark Gree and Black pencils. Background was done at the very end.
